Our reputation
Patricia Hayselden & Partners (formerly known
as L Hubbard Opticians) is a long-standing practice,
with an excellent local reputation and friendly staff who
are committed to finding the right solutions for people's
visual problems. Most of our patients come to us by personal
recommendation.
Patient care
Our commitment to patient care is reflected in the times
we allocate for apointments: a regular appointment is 30
minutes, and we devote 40 minutes to new patients' first
eye examination.
We conduct thorough NHS and private examinations
in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere, taking the time to listen
to your needs and to answer your questions. Our determination
to provide the best care is also demonstrated in our investment
in high-quality diagnostic/analysis equipment, such as our
fundus camera and slit lamp camera.
We strongly recommend our 40 minutes Premium examination, which includes
retinal photography, so that all aspects of your eye health can be
examined in detail, screening for many conditions such as
cataracts,
glaucoma, high blood
pressure, diabetes and
macular degeneration
(dry or wet).

Qualified Staff
In addition to our fully qualified and accredited optometric
staff, we have qualified dispensers, registered with the
General Optical Council, in all our locations. Our investment
in qualified, experienced and educated staff means that
you can be confident of our standard of service and of a
result that is both professional and just right for you.
